After months of preparation the time has finally come. Bags have been packed and packed again. They have been weighed and weighed and weighed and repacked to be under 50lbs. March 27, 2013 at 11:15pm 12 high school students, 4 LCS/LCC staff members, and 2 parents surrounded by parents, friend and a few staff member gathered together at the LCS lobby to pray and load the bus.
The team sang Happy Birthday to Uncle Bruce
Mr. Servellón share with them the following verse as a word of encouragement and a challenge to the team as they serve over the next week.
“Always be joyful. Pray continually, and give thanks, whatever happens. That is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Time to say goodbye and send the team off.
